Removalists are more than just a bunch of hefty guys and a truck to load up your belongings. If you have ever used them you will know how fast they get the job done. Apart from have loads of experience to get the job done right, safely and fast, they have a load of professional tools to get the job done right. Let's have a look at some of them
Appliance Dollies. You know the 2 wheeled trolley like thing that slips under a fridge so you can lift it up and wheel it away. They will probably use one with adjustable heights and build in safety mechanisms such as strapping for security, and multiple wheels that drop down so that your fridge now moves on 4 wheels and can stand up at an angle - very nifty.
Crate Carriers. Super strong stacking plastic boxes, and the bottom one has a 4 wheeled platform. They can be stacked as high as the movers will go and make moving all those awkward items a breeze. Sturdy.
Furniture Pads. Great for protecting your all important items when they are on the move and stored in their truck. Will save your walls and doorways from damage - something we often forget when moving ourselves.
Mattress Carts. These look like a big empty toaster. You can stack a number of mattresses in these and move fast and efficiently. Better than lugging and dragging them across the floor causing all kinds of damage.
Cargo Boxes and Bubble Wrap. Not your ordinary cardboard box, super strong with a lid and loads of bubble wrap to protect all your expensive and not so expensive items - some things you just cannot replace. Super strong light and effective. They have a range of the cargo boxes, for different uses, such as for mirrors and mattresses, and even a big box that has loads of snugly fitting smaller boxes keeping all items safe. Foam wraps, plastic wraps are also used.
Office Carts. Double sided library shelves on wheels to get everything out in one go. Very useful and an easy way to put things back in a similar fashion in your new office or home library. This can save you a lot of time and money.
Walk boards. Super strong platforms to avoid going up and down made of wood and reinforced with iron.
Modified Vans and Trucks. Don't forget they have all the right hooks, strapping, webbing and much of it designed on the inside of their van to hold your stuff tight. Ramps and other pulleys to get even the heaviest items on board with ease.
Good interstate removalists have the best equipment and no how to use it. Note that these are only some of the main tools that they use but some companies also develop their own. It is easy to see why they can do it so fast and still protect your goods. Good luck if you are doing it on your own
